Culture, Arts and Refugees
Welcome
Culture is rooted right at the heart of the process of integration. Not an end, or an outcome, or a by-product, but a starting point, a rationale, and a means by which it can be achieved.

The Culture, Arts and Refugees micro-site features information and resources from two Creative Exchange projects:
- The Peer Leadership Network on Arts, Culture and Refugees (PLN), a participatory learning project formed by a group of art practitioners and cultural managers working with Refugees and Asylum Seekers, that explored sustainability issues of the Refugee Arts sector, and
- A Sense of Belonging, a research project about the role of culture and the arts in the inclusion and integration process of refugees and asylum seekers. The research involved 70 UK organisations and featured several case studies and videos available on this micro-site.
